The starting point

Customers ordered once — and then the brand lost touch.

Between orders there was no direct channel. Customers did not know where their parcel was, and every new order started from scratch in the browser.

What we did

A shop app on the same API as the web shop.

Customers browse the range, build boxes and order in a few taps. Push notifications report each step of the order, and a timeline shows where the parcel is — right up to the doorstep.

The result

A direct line to every customer who installs the app.

Order updates arrive without an inbox search, the next order is a few taps away — and the brand tells its customers about new boxes the moment they launch.

What we built

Shop, order status and news.
In every pocket.

Push notifications

Order updates and new boxes, straight to the phone.

Order progress

Every step from payment to doorstep, in one timeline.

Quick reordering

Past orders and a quick login keep the next order short.

Boxes and bundles

Curated boxes and bundle prices, as in the web shop.

Passwordless login

Email code, magic link or Sign in with Apple.

Self-service cancellation

Customers cancel themselves while the order is not yet being prepared.

One account for everything

Same account, same cart, same order history as the web shop.

iOS and Android

One app for both stores.

  • The full range in the mydeli app
  • A sample box with 12 dishes
  • The cart with its minimum order
  • Product page with price per kilo and ingredients

Mobile app

For iOS and Android.

One app for both stores — with push notifications, order progress and quick login.

Available for iOS and Android.

How it fits together

One API, two channels.

App and web shop share the account, prices and orders. The ERP ships, the app reports it.

What the business gets

Closer to the customer.
Between orders, too.

What changes for the people who decide — not just for IT.

  1. A direct channel to the customer

No inbox and no ad platform in between: the brand reaches app users directly — with order updates and news about new boxes.

  2. Trust through transparency

Customers see where their order is at every step. They know what happens next — and order again with confidence.

  3. Reordering made easy

The next order is a few taps away. That is what turns a first purchase into a habit.

  4. To the doorstep

Ordered on the sofa, delivered to the door — for customers with no store nearby, too.

  5. Built on what exists

Same API, same ERP, same stock as the web shop. The app adds a channel, not a second system.

  6. Built in under two weeks

Because the API was already there, the app went from first line to finished build quickly.
